New Pornographers at Victory North

New Pornographers

When it comes to hook-heavy, euphoric power pop, it doesn't get better than The New Pornographers. Led by A.C. Newman, a songwriter seemingly capable of summoning up instantly earwormy melodies on a whim, this Canadian supergroup (which also boasts Neko Case amongst its ranks) is ready to take their unique live show on the road again, bringing the indie joy to you.

Brett Dennen at District Live

Brett Dennen

Californian folk sophomore Brett Dennen is back on the road! A self-taught singer and musician from an early age, Dennen's creative upbringing at home allowed him to compose his own music during his teens, and then to inspire others at summer camp. His 2004 self-titled debut album was well-received when a burned copy found its way to Apple executive Denzyl Feigelson, leading to a record contract with Dualtone Records.

Hawthorne Heights at Victory North

Hawthorne Heights

Emo rock legends Hawthorne Heights hit the road across North America with their Behind The Tears: Acoustic Tour! The influential band from Ohio were at the forefront of the mid 2000s emotional post-hardcore movement, with their perfect mix of aggression and vulnerability resonating with a generation of fans seeking music that was both cathartic and relatable.
